October 6, 2004, a live simulation exercise took place in a control room in Sveg, Sweden, belonging to Fortum Generation AB. Fortum Generation AB is a major power-generating company. The control room staff monitor and control several hydro power plants in Sweden. Visuell Systemteknik supported this training event.

VSL helped organize the exercise and coordinated data collection to document all steps and measures taken. The data was organized and presented with CITE® Explorer to facilitate analysis and evaluation.

In the MOA exercise, the control room staff managed a number of simulated critical incidents according to standard operation procedures. The purpose of the exercise was to train the personnel in the control room and to test procedures and organization.
