April 15, 2010, Dr. Johan Jenvald from VSL participated in a seminar on The Modern Rescue Service organized
by the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB).
Some one hundred practitioners from Swedish rescue services attended the seminar at the Guttasjön training range in Borås, Sweden,
to see demonstrations and to participate in discussions.
Dr. Johan Jenvald presented work on how to improve learning from operations. He emphasized methodological and technical challenges encountered in rescue operations analysis.
Lars-Gunnar Strandberg from MSB chaired the seminar.
